Hall of Fame
A native of Garden City, She is a 1959 graduate of Ladywood High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Madonna College, a Master’s of Educational Administration from Marygrove College, and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. In 1983, after 20 years of teaching in Michigan elementary and high schools, Sr. Nancy was appointed dean of Students at then Madonna College, and in 1989 was named Vice President for Student Services. During her more than 20 years as vice president she oversaw athletics, and other student-focused departments such as student and resident life, campus ministry, the Center for Personalized Instruction, and more. An awesome fan of our Crusader athletic programs, Sr. Nancy cheered for our scholar-athletes at their games and in their academic pursuits.
