One of the most dynamic offensive weapons Madonna soccer has seen, “Junior” helped to launch the program onto the national scene, twice leading the Crusaders to WHAC regular season and tournament Championships (1997, 98).
At the completion of his career, Emert resided atop the record books for points (141) goals (49) and still holds the career record for assists (43). As a senior, Emert recorded one of the greatest single seasons in Madonna history leading the Crusaders to a 20-3 overall and a perfect 14-0 WHAC regular season record. Emert was named WHAC Player of the Year, Great Lakes All-Region and Honorable Mention NAIA All-American after scoring 22 goals, assisting on 18 more and tallying 62 points.
Emert earned All-WHAC First Team and Great Lakes All-Region twice (1997, 98).
