As a member of the first women's soccer team in Madonna history, Barker's work ethic and leadership became her trademark. In 2000 Barker helped lead Madonna to the first NAIA Final Four in program and school history and was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the National Tournament. Barker set numerous career goalkeeping records including: saves (328), saves per game (4.43), save percentage (.843), wins (40) and shutouts (31). Over her four year career Barker was named first team All-American, first team All-Region, NAIA All-Tournament Team, two-time all-region, four-time all-conference, and two-time NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete.
