CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – The Madonna University men's bowling team traveled to Imperial Lanes this past weekend, October 4th and 5th, to compete in the 54th Annual Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Championship
. In a Tier 1 field featuring top-tier programs, the Crusaders demonstrated consistent performance across the individual standings.
Leading the way for Madonna was Dylan Jablonski, who secured a top-20 finish in the individual combined scores
. Jablonski found his rhythm in the third game, posting a stellar 246, which helped propel him to the 20th spot in a massive field of bowlers
.
The Crusaders also saw solid contributions from Brandon Leavitt, who finished 55th overall
. Leavitt remained remarkably consistent throughout the four-game block, highlighted by a strong opening game of 210. Not far behind was Keith McLeod, who earned the 75th rank
. McLeod finished his weekend on a high note, firing a team-high 236 in his final game of the block
.
Rounding out the notable individual performances for the Crusaders was Jonathon Michalski, who finished 160th
. Michalski stayed steady through his rotation, including a high game of 202 during his second round
.
Competing in one of the premier Tier 1 events of the season, the Crusaders faced off against a deep field including eventual individual leader Dawson Peterson from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and runner-up Jacob Lehn of Muskingum University.
