JACKSON, Mich. – The Madonna University men's bowling team opened its 2025-26 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference campaign on September 27 at the WHAC #1 meet. Competing at Jax 60, the Crusaders faced a competitive field in the first conference jamboree of the season.

Leading the way for Madonna was Brandon Leavitt, who secured a top-25 finish. Leavitt posted a three-game total of 633, highlighted by a strong opening game of 236. He followed that with scores of 183 and 214 to finish 21st overall in the individual standings.

Other notable performances for the Crusaders included:
  • Keith McLeod: Finished with a total of 578 pins, including a high game of 213 in his third set.
  • Dylan Jablonski: Placed 48th overall with a 572 total, concluding his day with a team-high single-game score of 226.
As a team, the Crusaders finished 7th out of 12 programs with a total pinfall of 5,842. The event featured a grueling format consisting of three individual team games followed by 16 Baker games. While Indiana Tech took the top spot in the team standings, Madonna's performance keeps them in the hunt as the conference season moves forward.

The Crusaders, led by head coach George Bell, will look to build on this performance as they start their pursuit of a WHAC title. Madonna will meet next at the Midwest Collegiate Championships on October 4th and 5th. This meet will be taking place at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township, Mich.
