YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Madonna track and field teams traveled to Eastern Michigan University last Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders went 1-2 in the men's 60-meter dash finals. DeVeyon Blacknell won with a time of 6.84, while Ugochukwu Anidobu was second in 6.98 seconds. Cortez Cunningham took home first place in the 300-meter dash event with a time of 34.25 seconds. Cobey Hall won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.25 seconds.

For the women, Ny'tierra Hobbs took third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.55 seconds. Nia Wood crossed the line in fifth place in the 200-meter dash, running 26.16.

Madonna will be at Saginaw Valley State University for the Jet's Pizza Invite. The two-day meet is set to begin Friday at 11:00 AM.
