AUGUSTA, Mich. - The Madonna University men's golf program competed at the WHAC Preview on Monday and Tuesday from Stoatin Brae Golf Club. The Crusaders finished 11th in stroke play with a team score of 321 after 18 holes. In match play, Madonna defeated Concordia University Ann Arbor 3.5-1.5. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Luke Aldrich led the team in stroke play with a round of 77, good for 26th place individually. Alex Mei shot a 78 to finish tied for 27th. Logan Palmateer tied for 40th with an 81, while Evan Westphal closed the scoring in a tie for 47th place, shooting 85. 

Aldrich also defeated Concordia's Andrew Sweitzer in match play. Also earning victories in match play for the Crusaders were Mei and John Truxal.
