BLUFFTON, OHIO --The Madonna University Crusaders kicked off their season at the UNOH 2025 Fall Invite held on August 25th and 26th at Bluffton GC. The tournament featured a competitive field including teams from UNOH and West Virginia Tech. Over the course of the three rounds, each consisting of 18 holes of stroke play, the Crusaders put forth a commendable effort finishing in second behind UNOH.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Among the standout performers for Madonna,
Charles Teed led the pack by finishing 4th overall. He demonstrated resilience and skill, particularly shining as he was one under heading into the third round.
Aiden Newman also turned heads with a strong performance, finishing 7th, buoyed by his impressive second round scoring one under par. Further contributions came from
Evan Westphal, Enzo Carlisimo, and
John Truxal, who finished 14th, 20th, and 22nd respectively, adding depth to the team's overall placement.

Looking ahead, the Crusaders are preparing for their next challenge at the LTU Collegiate Kickoff on September 2nd. The team's performance at Bluffton GC has set a positive tone as they continue their season.
