Men's Results:
Aiden Newman tied for sixth place with a 3-over-par 74 to lead Madonna University at the 18-hole LTU Fall Invitational at Farmington Hills Golf Club. The Crusaders counted four rounds in their team total of 312, finishing the event at 28 over par.
Newman recorded Madonna's lowest score of the tournament and secured the Crusaders' lone top-10 individual finish. The 74 left Newman four strokes behind medalist Guillermo Gomez of Cleary, who carded the only under-par round of the event with a 1-under 70. Gomez won by two strokes over a three-player group tied for second.
Enzo Carlisimo supplied Madonna's second counting score with a 7-over 78, earning a tie for 29th. Carlisimo finished four strokes behind Newman and helped give the Crusaders two players below 80 in the one-round tournament.
Nolan Plasencia and John Truxal completed Madonna's team total with matching rounds of 9-over 80. Both tied for 43rd on the individual leaderboard. Their identical scores, combined with Newman's 74 and Carlisimo's 78, produced the Crusaders' four-low total of 312.
Niklaus Vergel rounded out Madonna's five-player lineup with a 12-over 83, tying for 61st. Although Vergel's score did not count toward the team total, all five Crusaders completed the full 18-hole event.
Newman's steady 74 highlighted Madonna's day and placed the Crusaders among the event's top individual finishers. The single-round format left little room for recovery, and Madonna received counting scores from four golfers separated by only six strokes.

Grace Brees shot a 15-over-par 86 to finish eighth and lead Madonna University at the LTU Fall Invitational at Farmington Hills Golf Club. The Crusaders' four lowest rounds produced a team total of 373 in the one-round tournament, played on the par-71, 5,959-yard layout.
Brees earned Madonna's best individual result in the 47-player field of golfers who completed the round. Her 86 placed her one stroke behind Indiana Tech's Sophia Kay, who finished seventh with an 85, and one stroke ahead of Alivia Kolenda and Gabi Nowicki, who tied for ninth at 87.
Shaylin LeBlanc provided the Crusaders' second-lowest score with a 22-over 93, tying for 20th. Meghan Dikos followed with a 25-over 96 and tied for 25th, while Lacey Bradford completed Madonna's four counting scores with a 27-over 98 to tie for 30th.
Abby Raben rounded out Madonna's five-player contingent with a 43-over 114, tying for 42nd. The Crusaders' individual rounds were 86, 93, 96, 98 and 114, with the four lowest scores combining for the 373 total.
Renae Jaeger of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods captured the individual championship with a 6-over 77. Jaeger held off a pair of Lawrence Tech golfers in a tight race at the top, beating runner-up Cadance Beuckelare by one stroke and third-place Tanawan Vetchayanvivat by two. Beuckelare carded a 78, Vetchayanvivat shot 79 and Lawrence Tech's Alix Schickele placed fourth with an 80.
Brees' top-10 finish highlighted Madonna's day, while LeBlanc, Dikos and Bradford each placed among the top 30 ties. All five Crusaders completed the 18-hole event, giving Madonna a full set of results from its appearance at Farmington Hills Golf Club.

With the women's finishing fifth out of nine teams and the men's finishing tied for seventh, both teams will look to their next match when they travel to Augusta, Michigan to play at Stonehenge Golf Club for the WHAC Preview.
