Crusaders Showcase Skills at Farmington Hills Golf Club

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.- The Madonna University Crusaders participated in a competitive golf event on September 26, 2025, at the Farmington Hills Golf Club, marking a notable day in their performance roster. The team approached the match embracing sunny weather conditions, which set the stage for an impressive show of skill and strategy in a full 18-hole stroke play format.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders concluded the day with a commendable team score of 295 putting them in a tie for 3rd place. Among the standout performers was Evan Westphal, who skillfully maneuvered the course to finish 1 over par, tying for 6th place. Aiden Newman also delivered a strong performance, finishing 2 over par which placed him in a tie for 15th place. Additional valuable contributions came from John Truxal and Vincent Lee, both ending the day 4 over par and tying for 23rd place, while Charles Teed rounded out the top performances by finishing 5 over par, tied for 30th place.

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders next match will be Monday, October 13th as they travel to Sylvania, Ohio for the Lourdes Invite. The first tee time is set for 10:00 AM.
