Biography
A native of Commerce Township, Michigan, where he attended Detroit Catholic Central High School. Plasencia competed for the Shamrocks' varsity golf team during his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, helping Catholic Central capture three consecutive state championships in 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25.
Following his high school career, Plasencia continued his collegiate golf career at Albion College, where he competed during the 2025-26 season. He transfered to Madonna University, where he will compete in his first season with the Crusaders as a sophomore.
2025-26: Plasencia's best performance at Albion came at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Michigan. He finished tied for ninth overall, recording his best round in the opening round with a 78. Across 36 holes, Plasencia recorded two birdies and an eagle on the 483-yard par-five seventh hole during the first round.
