Crusaders Take Fifth at Heritage Hill Collegiate

SHEPERDSVILLE, Ky.-- The Madonna University men's golf team opened their spring section of their 2021-22 schedule on Saturday and Sunday, playing in the Heritage Hill Collegiate. Hosted by Lawrence Tech, the tournament took place at Heritage Hill Golf Club, a 6625 yard, par 72 layout. The Crusaders finished fifth, with a Saturday score of 321 and a Sunday score of 325 to equal 645.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Andrew Volk led the way for the Crusaders, shooting rounds of 77 and 74 to finish in solo third at the event. Brandon Petzak ranked next for Madonna, shooting rounds of 77 and 79 to finish in a tie for twelfth. Harrison Bowman opened with a 79 and followed up with an 82. Gabe Martin and John Doyle rounded out the Crusaders' starting lineup.


INSIDE THE NUMBERS UP NEXT 
The Crusaders will head to play an 18 hole event at The Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Mich. on Wednesday, April 6. The event is hosted by Lourdes University.
