Women Third, Men Seventh at First WHAC Jamboree

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. –  Madonna University's Men's and Women's Bowling programs kicked off their 2022-23 season campaigns at the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree where the women finished third and then men finished seventh. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the women's division, the Crusaders took home third place as a team behind two bowlers in the top nine finishers. Niccole Norris took home seventh place out of 97 bowlers, she finished with a score of 795 with an average of 198.75. Emily Gruin was the other top Crusader who finished in ninth place, Gruin racked up a score of 776 and an average of 194. On the men's side, the Crusaders finished seventh as a team, despite a great finish from Brandon Leavitt who took home seventh out of 119 bowlers. 

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, October 15 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to play in the CU Bowling Tourney hosted by Cornerstone University.
