LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has named junior Madonna University Track & Field Athlete Steven Anderson as Athlete of the Week for his performance Saturday at the Indiana Tech Classic where he ran a national best. 

Anderson's 7.98 second time in the 60m hurdles places him atop the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics event leaderboard heading into the WHAC Championships this weekend. This performance topples a time of 8.03 seconds that had sat in first-place since January 16. 

This is Anderson's second WHAC Athlete of the Week award this season. 

The Crusaders will be in Grand Rapids this weekend, February 20-21 at the Alksnis Athletic & Recreation Building on the campus of Aquinas College (Mich.) for the WHAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. .
