Crusaders close out the NAIA Outdoor Track Season at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championshps

ASHEVILLE, N.C.-- Madonna University earned multiple All-American performances at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, as the Crusaders showcased their sprint strength against the nation's top competition.

The Madonna men's 4x100-meter relay team of Jakevis Neal, Kamren Wilkerson, Jerson Lazo-Larrahondo, and Netanel Dorothea earned All-American honors with a fourth-place finish in the national final. The quartet delivered a strong performance in one of the meet's most competitive sprint events to secure valuable team points for the Crusaders.


On the women's side, Charity Jones turned in an outstanding championship performance with two All-American finishes. Jones placed third in the women's 400-meter dash to earn a spot on the podium before returning to finish sixth nationally in the 200-meter dash finals.


Netanel Dorothea also had a standout weekend individually for Madonna. Dorothea claimed national runner-up honors in the men's 400-meter dash with a second-place finish before adding another All-American performance in the 200-meter dash, where he placed seventh overall.


The performances capped off a successful national championship meet for the Crusaders, as Madonna athletes continued to make their mark on the national stage with multiple podium finishes and All-American honors.
