LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Madonna University Men's and Women's Track & Field teams wrapped up two meets in two states, posting a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics number one time and new school records on Saturday.

First at the Indiana Tech Classic, junior Steven Anderson edged the 60m hurdle field by nearly a tenth of a second in 7.98 seconds for first-place. This places the Inkster native first on the NAIA national leaderboard with the national meet a few weeks away. This is also a natural school record for the junior.

Junior Ja'Kelveon Jackson notched the second school record on the men's side in the triple jump in 14.29m (46'10.75"). Junior Cortez Cunningham bested a 200m field in 21.73 seconds for first-place. Finally on the men's side, the 4x400m relay team of Cunningham, senior Chris Hankins, sophomore Zeke Keller, and Anderson won in 3:24.91.

Senior Mikaela Hille not only hit a personal best mark in the long jump but posted a top 16 length as well in 5.53m (18'1.75"). Freshman Nia Wood claimed the 400m school record in 59.20 later in the meet.

Wood, Hille, junior Kamry Brown, and junior Alysa Coleman placed second in the 4x400m relay in 4:03.62 to round out the top performances in Fort Wayne.
