Men's and Women's finish 6th at AHBA #5

WATERFORD, Mich. - On Saturday, the Madonna University Crusaders Men's and Women's Bowling team traveled to the AHBA #5 in Waterford Township, Michigan hosted by Spins Bowl. The event featured 17 teams ranging from NCAA club teams to NAIA opponents. The men's team finished in 6th place while the women's team also finished in 6th place. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Crusaders Men's Bowling team finished 6th in with strong play across the board with three top 25 finishers. The Crusaders were just 118 pins away from fifth and only 212 pins away from fourth. The Women's Bowling team also had solid performances with two in the top 25. The Crusaders were 248 pins from 5th place and 253 pins away from 4th. 
 
The Men's team was led by Dylan Jablonski who had an amazing day finishing in 9th individually with a total score of 1,054 through five games. Brandon Leavitt would follow closely behind in 13th place with 1,027 pins. Keith McLeod finished 21st overall with a total score of 1,002. Additionally, Ken Kloth Jr. finished in 32nd with a total pin count of 962. 
 
The Crusaders Women's Bowling team was led by Maya Janowicz who finished in 15th place with a total score of 877. Laila Lupercio finished right behind Lipinski in 17th place with a final score of 864. Katherine Dybicki finished in 30th place with a final score of 824. Jillian Lipinski finished right behind Dybicki in 32nd place with a final score of 815.

UP NEXT:
The Crusaders will be back in action this coming weekend for the Kegel Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill. at Stardust Bowling Alley. Action starts at 8:00 AM.
