Women Finish Fourth, Men Finish Sixth at the WHAC Jamboree #4

ALLEN PARK, Mich. --  The Madonna University men's and women's bowling programs competed at the WHAC Greater Detroit Classic this past Saturday with the men finishing in sixth place and the women finishing in fourth place. The men finished with a total score of 7,006 and the women finished with 6,672.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Individually for the men, Keith McLeod led the Crusaders with a 6th place finish overall out of 134 bowlers. McLeod had a single game high score of 246, had a total score of 895, and averaged 223.75 per game. Ken Kloth Jr. would finish in 54th with a one game high score of 206 and a total score of 763.  

On the women's side, the Crusaders were led by Olivia Spaller who finished in 9th place out of 95 athletes with a total score of 796 in four games with an average of 199.0 per game. Spaller's highest game was a 232 bowled in her second game.  Jillian Lipinski finished in 19th place with a total score of 752 over four games and an average of 188.0 per game. Lipinski's highest game was a 202 in game three. 

UP NEXT:

Both bowling programs are back in action next Saturday, February 10th and 11th at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Western Bowling Alley. Competition begins at 7:00 AM.
