LIVONIA, Mich. – Madonna University Director of Athletics Noel Emenhiser announced to football players, parents, and supporters that the Crusaders football program would continue to play its home games at Livonia Public Schools facilities.
Emenhiser indicated that while Madonna University administrators, the athletics department, and football coaching staff have worked diligently to bring a stadium to campus, unfortunately, the project has been terminated. "The University has done everything possible to make the stadium dream a reality, however, because of issues outside of our control, we were unable to do so".
"The education, personal growth, and positive competitive experiences of our student-athletes are our top priorities," Emenhiser said. He also commented that the University and the athletics department will continue to pursue a path toward a home venue that will meet the needs of Madonna, the athletics department, and the football program.
