LIVONIA, Mich. -- Madonna University goalkeeper Youssou Ouendeno has been named Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) on Monday after his performance this past week against Cornerstone University (Mich.)

Ouendeno helped the Crusader to win their only matchup last week, and through that game, totaled five remarkable saves and only allowing a single goal. For the season, Ouendeno has tallied four shutouts and has a 86.2% save percentage.

Ouendeno and the Crusaders will travel to Cardinal Stadium to take on Concordia University Ann Arbor on Wednesday, September 29, with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff
