LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University women's lacrosse team will have several new faces this season as Head Coach Dan Teskey and his staff announced the signing of four student-athletes on Friday.

The group holds several conference, district, region, and state accolades and is sure to make an immediate impact in the 2020 campaign. 

"Our goal was to add depth at midfield and goalie in our 2020 recruiting class. Luckily we were able to do that. We brought in three midfielders and a goalie – all of which have tremendous upside and growth potential and fit our team's personality," said Head Coach Dan Tesky.

"Hannah has a ton of upside and is someone who we can tell is going to grow quickly at the goalie position. She's eager to compete and has great size, which is what we're most excited about as coaches. I think her drive for new techniques and knowledge about the position will make her a great asset to our team," said Teskey.

"Jasmine, Lilly, & Makennah will all add much-needed depth in our midfield unit. We struggled a bit late into games last season as our midfielders were asked to run longer shifts, so adding three aggressive midfielders is a welcomed change and gives us our strongest midfield core ever. All three play slightly different styles which will give us different options as we look into making midfield groupings going into the spring season," said Tesky

Makennah Blackman, Allendale, Mich., Zeeland West High School

• Four-year letter winner at midfield
• 147 career goals in two seasons, 80 goals as a junior
• Two-time All-Conference honors

Lilly McKee, Fenton, Mich., Fenton High School

• Three-year letter winner at midfield
• 52 career goals, 33 as a junior, second-highest on the team
• Two-time First-Team All-Conference

Hannah Dickson, Canton, Mich., Salem High School

• Three-year letter winner
• 33% save rate in goal

Jasmine Stringham, Curtice, Ohio, Clay High School

• Three-year Letter-winner at midfield
• Three-year track and field and tennis Letter-winner
