LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Madonna University athletic department has announced that fans will not be permitted inside the Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena through December. 

"We are committed to giving our student-athletes the chance to play this year and feel this is the best way to make that happen," said Madonna athletic director Scott Kennell. "We will continue to evaluate and monitor the coronavirus numbers in Michigan over the next several weeks to make a better determination for games beginning in January. We hope to be able to open our stands again this season."

Although fans are no longer allowed in the stands, they are encouraged to watch the games live online at www.mucrusaders.com/watch.
