Women’s Soccer Reserves Draw One and Drop Two on the Road

Livonia, MI. - The Madonna University Women's Soccer Reserves earned a draw against Siena Heights and took two losses last week to run their season record to 7-3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Siena Heights University
o The Crusaders went on the road to play a second straight game against SHU.
o After winning 1-0 at home in the WHAC Reserves Tournament, Madonna was unable to muster up a goal and went home with a 0-0 Draw.

Adrian College
o The Crusaders went on the road again, this time to Adrian College.
o MU played well throughout, but a goal late in the second half put them in a hole.
o Despite several opportunities to tie the score, the Crusaders could not put in a goal and the game ended in a 0-1 loss.

Indiana Tech
o Once again, on the road, the Crusaders scored first from a pass by Julieann White to Bella Sylvestre for the finish.
o MU conceded a goal late in the first half to go into halftime at a 1-1 stalemate.
o Madonna played a good second half but was unable to score again to take a lead.
o Indiana Tech scored the game winner late in the half and the game ended as a 1-2 loss for Madonna.

UP NEXT
· The Crusaders return to action on Monday, October 14 at home, as they host Heidelberg University.
· Kick-off is at 4:00 pm at the M.A.C.
