Crusaders finish Fourth in the WHAC Regular Season

SYLVANIA, OHIO - The Madonna University Cheerleading team traveled to Sylvania, Ohio for their final regular season competition hosted by Lourdes University. The Crusaders would take fourth with a score of 75.36.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Madonna Cheer team looked to prepare for the postseason and would finish fourth with a score of  76.97. Concordia and Lourdes had a close battle for first and second but it would be the Cardinals who would end up on top with a score of 90.60. After a long fought season Coach Amber Hauck had this to say about her advanced team. "Advanced has put up a hard fight this season, putting out their most difficult routine in program history. Finishing the regular season by hitting zero, Madonna finished 4th in the first ever WHAC Regular Season for competitive cheer. Going into WHAC Championships on March 8th, this team is ready to fight for a program
record!"

The Intermediate team finished the regular season smashing their team goal with a 62.35. Coach Amber Hauck had this to say about her intermediate team, "This team showed tremendous growth each week, with personnel changes and amazing adaptability. We're excited to see the Intermediate program at Madonna continue to grow."

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will be back in action on Saturday, March 8th as they head to Aquinas College for the WHAC Championships. Competition begins at 10:00 AM.
