CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio-- In an impressive display of skill and strategy, the Madonna University Crusaders secured a decisive 89-59 victory against Ohio Christian on December 10, 2025, during a regular season basketball game held at the Maxwell Center in Circleville, Ohio.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
From the onset, the Crusaders established an early lead thanks to key performances from
Pierce Cephas and
Breasia Gamble. Cephas opened the scoring with successful free throws, while Gamble shone with a noteworthy layup on a fast break. Madonna closed the first period leading 14-9, setting a solid foundation for the rest of the game.
The second quarter saw the Crusaders extend their lead further to 34-19 by halftime.
Breasia Gamble and
Sheneice Halmon continued to impress, contributing significant points. The defense played a crucial role, turning over the ball multiple times and dominating the court.
As the game progressed into the third period,
Terre'ya Moore showcased her skills with several layups, extending the lead to an impressive 65-33 by the end of the quarter. The Crusaders capitalized on fast breaks and solid defensive plays, maintaining their substantial lead.
