The match highlighted a tough competition for the Crusaders against one of the premier teams in the country, ending with a final score of Indiana Wesleyan 71, Madonna 21.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

During the first half, the Crusaders faced significant pressure, concluding the half trailing significantly with a score of 58-7. Despite the adversity, Madonna showcased resilience and made notable plays in the second half. Key players for Madonna included Terrell Smith, Kwame Miller, and Eric Thomas, each of whom contributed with touchdowns. Eric Thomas particularly stood out by making 11 receptions, which broke a school record while also totaling 100 yards and scoring one touchdown.

Kwame Miller also delivered a solid performance, rushing 18 times for 78 yards and adding a touchdown.
