SOUTHFIELD, MICH. - The Madonna University Cheerleading team traveled to Lawrence Tech on Sunday morning for the Crosstown Showdown duel between the Crusaders and the Blue Devils. The Crusaders would beat the Blue Devils with a final score of 76.45.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Madonna Cheer team would travel to Lawrence Tech for the second annual Crosstown Showdown which would end in a huge success for the Crusaders. The Crusaders would beat the Blue Devils with a score of 76.45 which is a season high score for the Crusaders this year. Both the Coed and All-Girl teams would "hit zero", which means both teams had a routine with zero deductions which is also a first for both teams this year. This will be cheer's 2nd program win over LTU in the crosstown showdown. And the introduction of Kevin, the I-96 sign trophy. The final results were: Madonna All-Girl with a 50.35, Lawrence Tech with a 61.45, and Madonna Coed with a 76.45.

The Crusaders will be back in action Saturday, February 17th at Concordia University. Competition begins at 2:00 PM.
