Intermediate kicked off the competition with their cleanest, most executed routine yet. After bringing in a record-breaking 63.82 last week at home, the Madonna Intermediate team raised the bar yet again. Finishing second to Siena Heights Intermediate, MUIM finished with a 64.67, topping Bethel Intermediate. "I felt like we were champions and we will always be heroes because my team is so good that we don't even need a mascot. Go Cru!" - Freshman

MUCC Advanced followed close behind with an outstanding performance, nailing both pyramids and receiving a season high execution score in both Stunt Sequence and both Standing and Running Tumbling. After breaking their record at the Crusader Classic with a 79.53, the Crusaders set a goal to finally reach 80 points this week. There were plenty of emotions from the staff when scoresheets were revealed. "I cried, and I never cry. We've been fighting for this for so many years, that 80 point goal has been lurking over our shoulders." - Head Coach Amber Hauck. Madonna Advanced was ecstatic to hear their new record score of an 87.51. "I have so much pride and excitement. I was thinking about what a blessing it is being my first year here and I was here for the first ever win. I was so proud of myself and my teammates. Especially
Abby Porth for learning a whole new tumbling pass and joining the layout crew." - Freshman

The new record score for the Crusaders also placed them at the top of the competition, marking the program's first conference win. "It's an honor to continue to be a part of this program. I am so, so proud of each and every one of these athletes and every single alumni who paved the way for us to keep doing what we do. We had a lot of them in the gym with us on Saturday, and it means the world that they want to come home and be a part of it." - Head Coach Amber Hauck.Â

Faith Walls were all members of the 2026 All-Conference tryout. Results of the All-Conference will be announced at the WHAC Conference Tournament on March 8
th hosted by Aquinas.
The Crusaders are back on the mat Saturday, February 21st at Spring Arbor University.
