LIVONIA, Mich.- The Crusaders welcomed the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils to ACCU Arena this Wednesday looking to build on top of a 30-point win over U of M Dearborn this past Saturday. The Crusaders came back to make it close after being down 13 points at the half bringing the Blue Devils lead only to one at a point. The Blue Devils capitalized on their three-point shooting skills to overtake Madonna and walk-away with a big road victory to move to 7-5 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Lawrence Tech started off hot showcasing their beyond-the-arc shooting by going 11-19 in the first half. Jimmy Salamone shot 3-of-5, Aaron Dolny shot 2-of-2, and Cameron McEvans shot 3-of-4. A tough assignment for the Crusaders to begin the game.
Brendan Young led the Crusaders in the first half with 11 points, while
Isaac Anderson and
Satchel Love both finished the first half with eight points. The Crusaders won the free-throw battle by making 14-of-16.

Coach Emenhiser and Kerfoot regrouped at the half and outscored the Blue Devils in the second half 51 points to Lawrence Tech's 41-point second half.
Isaac Anderson found another gear as he dropped 19 points and secured seven rebounds in the second half while big-man
Matthew MacLellan had himself 13 points and four rebounds. Although the Crusaders showed energy the Blue Devils matched it by being led by Salamone, McEvans, and Lund. Salamone had ten points and shot 4-for-7 from the field, McEvans finished with 26 points coming off the bench including 16 points in the second half, and Blake Lund came alive by scoring 13 points and going 3-for-3 from the field and knocking down all of his free-throws.

The Madonna Men's Basketball Team ultimately drop this game 98-to-93 to the Blue Devils.
