SYLVANIA, Ohio - Madonna University women's basketball faced Lourdes University Friday evening. The Crusaders would come out victorious with a final of 79-62.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came out giving a strong offensive performance from all participating players but especially from Aaliyah McQueen and LaZae Mosley with McQueen finishing with 32 points which is the ninth most points scored in a single game in program history,. Mosley would finish with 17 going 7-of-10 from the field while scoring eight of those points in the last 7 minutes of the fourth quarter to help seal the win for the Crusaders. In the first half the Crusaders and Gray Wolves were back and forth exchanging leads and blows through the first half. McQueen started the game strong as she would head into halftime with 20 points as the Crusaders would lead 38-31 at halftime. 

The second half was all Crusaders as they would see their seven point halftime lead only get down to three but never trailed in the second half. In the fourth quarter the Crusaders were able to put on cruise control and take total control of the game maintaining a 10 point lead throughout the quarter and coasting to a 79-62 victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• McQueen places herself 9th all time in points scored in a game with 32. She also had 10 rebounds and three assists.
• Mosley would finish with 17 shooting 70% from the field and also grabbing 3 rebounds 
• Marcela Rodriguez would finish with nine points going 4-7 from the field and 1-of-3 from three. She would also grab three rebounds and have an assist
