TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Madonna University cross country teams competed at the Nike Twilight Invite on Friday night from the Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Indiana. The men's team finished 9th with 250 points, while the women took third in the standings with 97 points. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Cameron Kruse led the Madonna men in 31st with an 8k time of 27:24. Lucas Eccelton was 43rd, crossing the line in 27:56. In 49th place was Ryan Nicholson with a time of 28:15. Andrew Langkam was 59th in 29:00. Jamari Williams closed the scoring for the Crusaders in 68th place, running 29:48.

For the women, Abigail German led the way with a 13th place finish, posting a 6k time of 24:04. Lauren Hamilton was right behind in 14th place with a time of 24:32. Next for the Crusaders was Izzie Lashaway in 19th, running 25:14. Miranda Nelson was 23rd in 25:35. Concluding the scoring was Alexis Spitzey in 28th place with a time of 25:40.
