ADRIAN, Mich. – Madonna University's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams took part in the Siena Heights University XC Invite this past Friday. Both the Men's and Women's Cross Country teams showed up big. The Men's team finished second overall in the team standings with 76 points. The Women's team finished first overall in the team standings with 31 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Sophomore,
Mehdi Hamoud finished in the top spot for the Crusaders and first overall out of all the runners with a time of 25:20.20. Another sophomore,
Salah Ensaad, finishes in the top five with a finishing spot of four with a time of 26:02.50.
The Women's Cross Country team finished first in the overall team standings with the help of four runners finishing in the top ten. Senior,
Rose Paoletti, claimed the top spot out of all the runners with a time of 22:35.30. Sophomore
Alexis Spitzley, finished not too far behind in fourth with a time of 23:49.30. Junior
Izzie Lashaway finishes seventh with a time of 24:12.10. Lastly, rounding out the top ten, junior
Elizabeth Dancey finished ninth with a time of 24:40.00.

Men's and Women's Cross Country will next compete at the Ray Bullock Invite hosted by Taylor University (Ind.). The Ray Bullock Invite will take place on Friday October 11, 2024, at 4:00 PM at TUXC Farm.
