FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Madonna University volleyball team lost their first conference match of the year on Saturday, falling to Indiana Tech in straight sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Warriors dominated the first two sets, winning via scores of 25-9 and 25-10. Indiana Tech used the momentum from the first two sets to defeat the Crusaders 25-21 in the third and final set of the afternoon.

Madonna is now 6-5 overall and 2-1 in WHAC play.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Tauri Hintz led Madonna with nine kills.
Kacie Stoneburner had 10 assists for the Crusaders, while Karlee Stoll had seven.
The Warriors were led by Taylor Paul's 14 kills.
