LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University women's volleyball team moved to 3-1 in the WHAC with a 3-1 victory over Lawrence Tech University on Wednesday night inside Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

It seemed like Madonna was on cruise control the first two sets, defeating the Blue Devils 25-22 and 25-19 to jump out to a 2-0 lead. LTU responded however by jumping out to a 19-13 lead in the third set, before holding on for the 25-21 victory. 

Set four was a battle with neither team wanting to lead by more than three points. The Crusaders were the ones who came out on top 26-24, with the final two points coming from a Hope Schriber kill and Karlee Stoll ace. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• Kira Buza led the Crusaders with 16 kills. 
• Kacie Stoneburner recorded 22 assists.
• Khloee Stoll had 24 digs.
• LTU was led by Lindsay Hubler's 17 kills.
