Saints shut down Crusaders

LIVONIA, Mich. - Coming off a two-game win streak, the Madonna Crusaders (4-3, 2-2) returned home today to take on the Siena Heights Saints' Women's basketball team (7-2, 4-1). The Crusaders would keep it close in the first half, but a barrage of free throws would help the Saints pull away in a victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders came out the gate hot, as Kayiona Willis scored the game's first points from behind the arc off of an assist by Aaliyah McQueen. The Saints would answer, but the Crusaders kept it close.
