LIVONIA, Mich. - Madonna men's soccer (10-4-4, 6-2-3 WHAC) ended the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Lawrence Tech (11-4-3, 5-3-3 WHAC) on Saturday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Both goals came in the opening half. The visiting Blue Devils struck first with Skander Larfaoui finding the back of the net in the 33rd minute to make it 1-0. Madonna answered in the 37th minute, as Corey Matthews found Ryushin Hirami and tied the match at 1-1.

Following halftime, the Crusaders and Blue Devils tried to find the advantage. Madonna outshot LTU in the second half 12-4, but was unable to find the game winner. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• Ryushin Hirami and Ren Suzuki each took four shots for Madonna. 
• Afonso Henrique made three saves for the Crusaders.
• For the Blue Devils, Kieran Malachino made two saves.

UP NEXT:

Madonna and LTU will battle again next Saturday in the WHAC Quarterfinals. Kickoff from the Madonna Athletic Complex will be announced sometime this week.
