WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- The Crusaders' men's basketball team was back in action against the No. 2 ranked Lacers of Grace College (Ind.) and the Crusader would lose steam in the second half as Madonna fell, 89-66.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The entirety of the first half was a back and forth game, and a game of runs nonetheless. Madonna would find themselves up 15-13 thanks to a three-pointer by
Jordan Graham. The Lancers would respond with a 9-1 run to take a 22-16 lead, Madonna would get in foul trouble as
Brendan Young and
Sho-Ron Graham would pick up three and two fouls respectively and have to sit the rest of the half. Despite two Crusaders who scored in double figures last night on the bench, Madonna only trailed 39-31 at the half.Â
In the second half, the Lancers opened the half with a 17-4 run to take a 56-35 lead. The Crusaders would be able to cut the Lancer lead down to as much as 14 but Madonna would end up falling to the No. 2 team in the country 89-66.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Anderson would lead the Crusaders in scoring and rebounds with 15 points and seven rebounds
- Devin Dunn would finish with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting and four rebounds

The men's basketball team will be back in action on Friday, November 3 as the Bernie Holowicki Classic returns to Livonia when the Crusaders take on the Royals on Hope International (Calif.) aat 7:00 PM inside ACCU Arena.
