SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Madonna Crusaders Volleyball team completed the season sweep of the Lourdes University Gray Wolves Friday night in a 3-0 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening set was back and forth and both teams found themselves knotted up at 12. The Crusaders then pull off 9-3 run to take a 21-15 run which was the run they needed to secure the first set 25-18. In the second set, it was similar to the first set as oth teams found themselves in a back and forth game and were tied at 16-16. The Crusaders once against pull off a late 9-2 run thanks to
Tauri Hintz and
Kira Buza who had two kills each in that run to secure the second, 25-18.
In what was the third and final set, the Crusaders did not play around jumping out to a 13-6 lead. That early lead was all that they needed was the cruised along to take the third 25-18 to complete the season sweep of the Gray Wolves.Â

- Buza finished the night with seven kills, four blocks, and three aces
- Khloee Stoll lead the Crusaders in digs with 18
- Crusaders are now 7-3 in their last 10 matches against Lourdes
