GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Madonna University volleyball program picked up a huge win on the road Friday night over conference rival Aquinas College. The Crusaders swept the host Saints to snap a three-game losing streak. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The stage was set for this Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference battle, and in the first set the Crusaders came to play and took it 25-23. 

In set two, the Crusaders jumped out to a 21-13 lead before the Saints got right back in it with a 9-1 run to tie the score at 22-22. Madonna responded however thanks to a kill by Kacie Stoneburner and back to back service aces by Molly Miller to take the 25-22 victory. 

Set three saw the Crusaders keep the momentum going and close out the match with a 25-21 win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
 

• Molly Miller led the Crusaders with 10 kills and three service aces.
• Stoneburner recorded 22 assists.
• Jamie Ciacico had 14 digs while Ryley Osentoski had 10.

Madonna remains on the road and takes on Cornerstone University at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1st.
