Crusaders Upended by No.22 Golden Eagles

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –  Madonna University's Volleyball program was back in action Saturday afternoon to take on the Golden Eagles of Cornerstone University (Mich.). The Crusaders would fall in three sets to the No.22 ranked team in the country 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders were looking to carry their momentum after last night's big win at Aquinas College (Mich.). However, the Golden Eagles had other plans, as they took the opening set 25-13. After winning set two 25-20, Cornerstone completed the sweep with a 25-22 set three victory. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS UP NEXT

The Crusaders will return to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play on Wednesday, October 5 as they host the University of Northwestern Ohio at 7:00 p.m.
