ADRIAN, Mich. –  Madonna University's Volleyball program was back in action Wednesday night as they traveled to Siena Heights University (Mich.) where they lost 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders were looking to bounce back after Saturday's home defeat against the Indiana University East. However, the Saints had other plans, the first seat saw some back-and-forth action but the Crusaders would fall 25-20. After that, the Saints would never look back as they took the next two sets from the Crusaders to complete the 3-0 sweep. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Molly Miller led the Crusaders with 11 kills
• DJ Sargent finished with 10 kills and 2 block assists

UP NEXT:

The Crusaders will return to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play on Saturday, September 17th as they are back home at the Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena to take on the Warriors of Indiana Tech at 1:00 p.m.
