LIVONIA, Mich. –  Madonna University's Volleyball program was back in action Wednesday night as they played Indiana University East who they played just eight days ago and came up short this time losing 3-1. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Crusaders jumped out early, as they dominated the first set 25-13. In the second set, Madonna once again was up early with a 5-2 lead. However, the Red Wolves would rattle off an 8-0 and would never look back. IU East would sweep the next three sets and the Crusaders would fall 3-1. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Kira Buza was a bright sport for the Crusaders as she finished with 11 kills and four blocks
• Crusaders combined for 18 blocks

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will return to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play on Wednesday as they travel to Adrian, Mich. to take on the Saints of Siena Heights University at 7:00 p.m.
