LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University volleyball program fell 3-2 to Siena Heights University on Senior Night from Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The visiting Saints came out and set the tone in the opening set, as they rolled to a 25-15 victory. The Crusaders were able to respond by winning the second set 25-21. Siena Heights regrouped and took the third set with ease 25-15. 

Down but not out, the Crusaders of course needed to win the fourth set to keep the match going. They did just that, holding off the Saints for a 25-22 victory. 

In the fifth and deciding set, Siena Heights was able to jump to a 7-1 lead. Madonna did all they could to get back in it, but the deficit was too much to overcome as the Saints captured a 15-10 win. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• Molly Miller led the team with 13 kills, while Jaeda Porter had 11 and Kira Buza 10. 
• Kacie Stoneburner posted 20 assists. 
• Jamie Ciacico had a game-high 29 digs.

Madonna heads to the University of Northwestern Ohio for a 1:00 p.m. match on Saturday, November 5th.
