SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Madonna University men's soccer program played Lourdes University to a scoreless draw on Saturday in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match. The Crusaders remain undefeated with a record 8-0-2 overall and 3-0-1 in WHAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Both defenses and goalies came ready to play, and neither team was able to get on the scoreboard. The Gray Wolves and Crusaders played physically, as there were 24 combined fouls. Madonna had three yellow cards and one red, while Lourdes had two yellows. 

Youssou Ouendeno was outstanding in net for the Crusaders, as he recorded five saves. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• Madonna had 11 total shots, with four coming on goal.
• The Gray Wolves recorded 12 shots, including five on goal. 
• Each team had five corner kicks. 
• Leonardo Abonizio led Madonna with four shots and two on goal.
