LIVONIA, Mich. –  Madonna University's Men's Soccer Team program posted a 7-1 victory over Siena Heights University on Saturday afternoon at the Madonna Athletic Complex to keep their undefeated season alive.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Crusaders wasted no time in this one as at the 1:05 mark, Gabriel Simonete Bressanelli played the perfect through ball to Jordy Lopez who found the back of the net to make it 1-0. The Crusaders weren't done there, they found the net two more times in the first half off the feet of Ryota Nakajima in the 16th minute and Andres Gomez in the 32nd minute. The second half saw even more scoring for the Crusaders as they saw four more shot go past the saints goalie for a 7-1 victory. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Madonna outshot the Saints 26-3 and 15-1 in shots on goal. 
• Lopez's season goal total went up to seven with his two goals today.

The Crusaders will return to the pitch on Wednesday, October 12 when they host Concordia University (Mich.) at the Madonna Athletic Complex.
