LIVONIA, Mich. - The Madonna University volleyball team earned a 3-1 victory over Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon to complete the season series sweep. The Crusaders are 13-11 overall and 10-8 in WHAC play following today's home victory. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Madonna dominated the opening set, leading by as many as 13 points en route to a 25-17 set victory. In the second it was much closer as the Crusaders held off the Saints 25-22. 

Set three was back and forth but this time the Saints were able to take it 26-24. In the final set, the Crusaders were able to secure the home match victory with a 25-16 win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 

• Kacie Stoneburner had nine kills, nine digs, and 15 assists. 
• Kira Buza recorded seven service aces.
• Leading Madonna in blocks was Molly Miller with seven.
• Jamie Ciacico posted 11 digs.
• Madonna hit .240 as a team.
