ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Madonna University Women's Basketball traveled to Ann Arbor to take on the Concordia Cardinals where the Crusaders would drop their third straight game 84-45.

HOW IT HAPPENED

It was a rough day for the Crusaders, to start the game Madonna was up early 6-5. However, that did not last long as the Cardinals would go on a huge 18-1 run to go up 23-7 after one. In the second quarter, the Crusaders struggled from the field once again, but April Hudelson made a living at the stripe going a perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line this quarter, but Madonna found themselves trailing 42-21 at the half. 

In the third, Naomi Davis had six of the Crusaders' 13 points going 3-5 from the field. Paige Boden played some good defense coming away with two blocks in the quarter as well. In the fourth, Hudelson was the only Crusader to get in the scoring column as she scored all 11 points and finished with a game-high 24 points. Despite Hudelson's efforts Madonna would fall 84-45 and move to 5-13 overall and 4-5 in the WHAC this season.

• Hudelson finished with a game-high 24 points, three rebounds, and three blocks
• Davis had six points, two rebounds, and two steals
• Sarah Tanderys finished with five points and two rebounds
• Boden finished with four points and four blocks

The Crusaders will have a short turnaround as they travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. to take on No.12 Indiana Tech, tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
