Crusaders Sweep Regular Season Series Against Siena Heights

ADRIAN, Mich.  -- Madonna University's Men's Basketball team won their second game in a row as they beat Siena Heights University (Mich.) on the road 81-68.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half was a shootout as both times combined for 13 threes. Jordan Graham has continued his hot streak as he knocked down two threes en route to his 12 points in the first half. Madonna was playing great team basketball as on their  15 made field goals, 10 of them were coming from an assist.

In the second half, senior Mark Mettie did his thing and had a double-double in just the half alone. The Crusaders' defense stepped up only holding Siena Heights to only two threes and causing nine turnovers. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
 
  • Graham led the Crusaders in scoring again finishing with 18 points
  • Ryan Nunn provided a great spark off the bench with 14 points and three steals
  • Mettie finished with yet another double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds
  • Brendan Young had 11 points, seven rebounds, and two assists
  • Devin Dunn finished with 10 points and six assists

UP NEXT

The Crusaders will be on the road again when they play Saturday, January 22 when they take on Concordia University Ann-Arbor at the Cardinal Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
