LIVONIA, Mich.-- On Saturday, the Madonna University Football team welcomed Marian University (Ind.) in Mid-States Football Association Mideast League play at Livonia Churchill High School in a 80-3 loss. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

Max Morris finished 12 of 27 for 86 yards while Assane Ka came in late in the fourth quarter with two completions on eight attempts for 34 yards. A trick play from Nick Hastings gave the receiver for 27 yards as well. 

Christian Gaiera led the running back squad with 72 yards on 11 attempts with Jalen Crawford had 41 yards off 13 attempts. Nick Hastings tallied 49 yards on three connections while Novell Chestnut caught four balls for 25 yards. 

The defensive side of the ball saw Dalen Cobb, Mitch Nguyen, Jarrett Railing, and Ryan Puczkowski all grabbed three solo tackles Cobb, Jesse Morris, and Jakel Davis nabbed a total of six tackles 

Moritz Preuss' 48-yard field goal was the only three points Madonna could muster over the 60 minutes.
