FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Â The Madonna University Men's Lacrosse team suffered its second-straight loss at the hands of the No. 2 Indiana Tech University Warriors 13-4 at the Warrior Athletic Field on Wednesday night.
Indiana Tech started the game on a 3-0 run before junior Jordan Davis and junior Connor Wright broke up the streak in the final minutes of the first quarter. Madonna went scoreless in the second, behind 7-2 at halftime.Â
Davis' unassisted goal got things started in the third while another Warrior goal got sandwiched between the final Crusaders' score from junior Cole Gingell with 3:10 left in the third. Madonna would go scoreless the rest of the way.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Davis finished as Madonna's leading scorer with two, Wright and Gingell each with one
- Sophomore Vince Floro had the Crusaders' only assist.Â
